Culinary tours in Monheim in 2022
Appetizers and evening meals, aperitifs, regional specialties and delicious drinks – the old town of Monheim offers locals and visitors a wide selection of culinary delights.
Gourmets can now choose from three different guided culinary tours to try foods and drinks at various restaurants while learning more about the town. In 2022, the offer was expanded by a third tour, the existing two tours have been adapted.

All of the tours require prior registration. To ensure that all the food and drink is perfectly prepared and that measures to contain the Covid pandemic can be observed, registration no later than three days prior to the event is required. The Covid protection rules laid down in the latest version of the Covid Protection Regulations for Gastronomy and Cultural Events (Corona-Schutzverordnung für Gastronomie und Kulturveranstaltungen) apply for all tours. Tours are designed for up to 20 participants per event.

Gourmet Wednesday
"Monheim for Gourmets" – that's the motto on Wednesdays. The tour takes you on a picturesque walk around the old town, with culinary and cultural highlights for all your senses. You'll learn interesting facts about local history and the way of life in Monheim am Rhein, accompanied by fine, artfully presented foods and seasonal cuisine. Food and drinks are included in the ticket price.

Rhenish Joie de Vivre
The weekend is fast-approaching, so it's time for beer, bratwurst and good company – but these are just some of the elements that make up the Rhenish savoir-vivre. Try it! You'll hear stories from Monheim and learn about the local way of life and Carnival while enjoying traditional delicacies. Food and drinks are included in the ticket price.
